Dr. Sudhakar has an impressive academic record to his credit. His remarkable success in MBBS examinations bagged him the Best Outgoing Student award from IMA, Salem. Post MBBS, he pursued PG Diploma in Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases (DTCD) and thus bolstered his knowledge in the field of respiratory diseases. This time too, his academic brilliance enabled him to successfully complete the course and establish himself as a University rank holder for the same.
Dr. Sudhakar is deeply involved in research activities. He has worked on several TB research projects conducted by JIPMER, Pondicherry and National TB institute, Chennai. He is presently serving as a District TB and Chest Diseases officer for the Government of Tamil Nadu.
Dr. Sudhakar is professionally associated with SS & Asthma Allergy Clinic, E S Hospital and Pondicherry Chest Clinic. While the former two clinics are located in Villupuram, the latter is situated in Pondicherry.
